Home School Association

Home School Association are meeting on TUESDAY 15^th May at 7pm, at School - everyone welcome

TESTS

Year 6 Children will be taking their Statutory Assessments next week.

This Term Ends on Friday 25^th May

NEXT TERM

Term Six begins on Monday 4^th June and ends on Thursday 19^th July.

Friday 20^th July is a staff training day.

School Council

This term our newly elected members are

Robert Bell, Heather Ryan, Kulraj Bains, Megan Milson, Lily Watson, Christopher Bell, Sam Poppleton, Chloe Walker, Codi Addison and Joshua Brumpton.

The School Council is holding a surgery for children each Wednesday at 12.45. Children are also invited to voice their opinions via the Suggestions’ Box in the library. Currently the School Council’s focus is ‘trying to improve the school environment’.

The calendar for next term is already full to bursting with events and activities!

Saturday 30^th June	The School Summer Fete 2pm – 4pm
Mon 2^nd July	Science Theatre- “ More Tea Vicar” 9.30am for the whole school

Thurs 12^th July	SPORTS DAY 9.30 am onwards

*Healthy Eating* Our school meals are so successful two other schools have requested them. Please ensure that your child brings a healthy snack for break times.

Swimming

Swimming for Nursery, Reception and Key Stage 1 in our own pool will begin on Monday 4^th June. Key Stage 2 swimming at the Lakeside will also begin that week on Thursdays and Fridays.
